Here is what you can expect at your initial visit...

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to fill out the necessary paperwork. Bring your insurance card for your file. Please feel free to download our new patient paperwork and fill it out prior to your visit. |

You will have the opportunity to view a short informational video about Chiropractic. This helps to answer common questions that most patients have and gives you some more information about what to expect at our office. |

Dr. Munson will then perform a thorough history and physical exam. The information you provide her will help her decide what further exams and possible x-rays are needed in your case and those will be performed that day. |

Not everyone will need x-rays, however, it is very common for them to be taken. These x-rays help Dr. Munson by showing the position of the spinal bones and any other pre-existing conditions that may affect your care. If you are pregnant or have had recent spinal x-rays please inform Dr. Munson. |

In some cases, you may receive physical therapy. Dr. Munson may also give you some home care instructions. |

That will conclude your first visit and you will be asked to make your second appointment. This initial visit usually takes 1 hour. All subsequent visits will be much shorter. |

Dr. Munson will take time to review your exam finding and x-rays. She will also formulate a treatment plan that is specific to your case. At your second visit she will inform you about your condition and exam/ x-ray findings. You will also have the opportunity to discuss your treatment plan and specific care details with her. |
